With so many injuries involving working at height this is always a main focus with HSE
Before starting any work at height you must always:
- Ensure risk assessments are carried out for all work at height
- Work is planned, organised and carried out by competent persons.
- A fall prevention/arrest system is in place before starting any task/activity
- Only trained/competent persons are allowed to install fall prevention/arrest systems
- Never leave areas unprotected at any time
- Always visually check fall prevention/arrest systems before use
